In 2010 the World Mahjong Championship (WMC 2010) will be hosted by the Dutch Mahjong Federation.

The city of Utrecht is in 'the heart' of the Netherlands and is easily reachable form Amsterdam Airport; both Eindhoven Airport and Rotterdam Airport are good alternatives for international travelers. The venue of the WMC is NDC den Hommel which is located just outside the city centre.
